After Father Christian Juarez Sanchez, Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Shrine in Barranco approved the proposal of the Mission to open a Chapel of Perpetual Adoration, the Mission worked continuously for 4 months in order to help him open it. With a lot of enthusiasm Father Christian Juarez informed his priests, collaborators, parish groups and laity and opened the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration on November 20th in the Mass at noon where more than 350 people were blessed and given the responsibility to be in continuous adoration. Before the establishment of the Chapel, several meetings were held between the team of the parish and the Mission in Peru, which was guided by the International Mission in order to organize everything. The work was divided between 2 General Coordinators, 4 Shift Coordinators and 24 Hourly Captains; and of course with the full support of Father Christian Juarez. That is how the 5th Perpetual Adoration Chapel in Peru will begin to operate in the Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Barranco.
