DIOCESE OF ITSMINA-TADÓ (Chocó)

Two buses with lay people and priests travelled to Itsmina, Chocó to attend the installation of the new Bishop of Garagoa, Monsignor Julio Garcia to celebrate this event. We handed out more than 10,800 Rosaries with the brochure of the Mission’s Rosary to the Deacon of St. John Apostle Cathedral. These Rosaries will be sent to all the parishes of this jungle region of Colombia, where 75% of its inhabitants are afro-americans, 20% native Indians and 5% mestizo.
