July has been a very tough month.It seems as if each week it is something new. New pain with old pain mixed in just for size.There are now four areas on the body which are giving serious problems resulting in not being able to walk to not sleeping because of the pain coming from the joints to digestion and swallowing problems to loosing thus far a total of over 70 pounds in weight which has caused severe anemia etc etc.From abscesses to a broken drip line resulting in another operation is the way it is going on top of all the side effects from this new chemo trial drug.Of course, thru all of this, it is hard to concentrate but today it was a good day towards the end so I take pen to hand as many of you have asked how I am doing.It's hard to pray under these conditions but by the grace of God I still manage the rosary each day and give all of this to my Father for Our Lord and Mother to use.I feel Our Lady and Our Lord close in these times so it is my ointment.I hope to God that none of you ever have to endure this type of test, trial, tribulation, and illness… whatever name it is given to it; but if you do, always remember thru all of the hardship that God exists and He loves you. We may never know in this life the reality behind any of this other than we must keep our faith and trust daily and pray...regardless.With all my love to all of you.RICK.
