Retreat for Missionaries in Uruapan, Michoacan On August 1st, 17 missionaries from 4 different Parishes of the city of Uruapan where the Mission is active gathered in a 5-hour retreat at the Parish of the Holy Trinity. They received formation on the Home Visits Program and they analyzed the topics that will be discussed in each of the visits. Margarita Gutierrez, the head of prayer cenacles, began the day with the Holy Rosary, with the meditations and intentions of the Mission. With much enthusiasm they then reviewed their strengths and weaknesses, as well as challenges and upcoming activities. The parish priest, Fr. Carlos Ortega, encouraged them to continue with their hard work. Additionally, every two months there is a Missionaries’ Meeting, with the intention of uniting efforts and experiences to enrich their service to God in the communities. The Mission For the Love of God Worldwide is preparing a report of accomplishments for the Bishop, for he will soon be visiting the Parish, as part of his pastoral tour, to know the fruits that have been achieved so far. Glory be to God!
