EspañolPress Release Consecration City of Hialeah 2014-2Miami…(August 27, 2014) Most Reverend Thomas Wenski, Archbishop of Miami, the Honorable Mayor of the City of Hialeah Carlos Hernandez, and Father Manuel J. Alvarez, pastor of Immaculate Conception Church, invite the community and media to a special Mass for the consecration of the City of Miami to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Mass, which is organized by the Mission for the Love of God Worldwide, would take place on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 4497 West 1st Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33012.Meaning of Consecration When we consecrate ourselves to God, a pact is established between the Father and His child. It is an act that will never be broken by God. It is a bond of love and protection. Consecration is the personal offering of ourselves and everything we have to God.
