On December 3rd, at the Basilica of the National Vow, a Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe began as a spiritual preparation for Her Feast Day on December 12th. The Mission participated in this Novena along with other groups of Catholic faithful, with whom an evangelization was organized under the guidance of Fr. José Fabián Camayo, for all the people who attended daily.Every day there was a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Adoration in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Mary and both the Relic Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, main devotion of Ecuador since it was consecrated to Him in 1824, were always present.
