Corpus Christi Celebration, Ecuador

CORPUS CHRISTI CELEBRATIONOn Sunday June 7th, the Catholic community of Quito celebrated Corpus Christi, with a procession that this year was planned by CELCA, the organization that comprises the committed Catholic movements which the Mission is part of.Each group had to prepare an altar in strategic streets of the historic center of Quito. Every altar was visited by Msgr. Fausto Travez, Archbishop of Quito and Primate of Ecuador, accompanied by his auxiliary bishops and the clergy in general, in addition to the Catholic faithful who attended with profound gratitude and faith as they recognize that the Eucharist is the greates gift God has given us, moved by His desire to remain with us after His Ascension.
