Some members of the Mission of South Florida participate with an organized group of Doral that hands out food, clothing and spiritual support every Saturday night to the homeless that are living under our bridges and on the streets of Miami. It is noteworthy to realize that the amount of this population is quite significant in a city where it seems that everything is in excess. Volunteers deliver every week sodas and over 350 home-cooked meals. For most of the homeless, this is the only hot meal they will eat during the week. We also distributed the Mission’s prayers of Consecration, praying with some of the needy when it is welcomed.Reed more
