Towards the end of 2013, I underwent a series of intravenous treatments for 45 days in Florida; after which the liver seemed to be responding. However, I should know more after the middle of January as I have to return for another several weeks to Florida since the problems in the esophagus and stomach are getting a little worse. One day at a time is the standard at this point mixed with a lot of hope.During this time I have reflected a lot upon those people who suffer long term illnesses who do not have or are not close to God. It saddens me deeply to think of them, in that darkness and despair that they must be feeling. As a result I ask you my dear brothers and sisters to please consider those people who suffer in any form. Please open your hearts and allow them into your daily prayers. When you suffer, please give that suffering throughout each day for the conversion of those who suffer who do not have, know, or believe in God. Your prayer is so strong in these cases and actually does miracles for your lost brothers and sisters.
